This book is also called "The Biography of the Demons", and the most serious full name is "Metal Sonata Extra: The Biography of the Demons".
It's probably the story of the devils that appeared in the "Metal Sonata" series, and it's a spin-off.
Each character is divided into two parts. One is the character design chapter, which tells in a casual style how the author came up with and perfected this character, determined his role and other settings; the second is the past events chapter, which uses a text style to write about some of their stories before they appeared in the main story of "Metal Sonata".
