Growth means crying, laughing, getting hurt, being happy, regretting, and being hurt. We betray others, and others betray us. Repeatedly, the originally innocent, kind and sunny children will eventually become dark, cynical, realistic and ugly.
In adolescence, there are always a few people you can't let go of, whether they are friends, lovers, or someone you guard carefully. I direct and act in a comedy or a tragedy, and I am deeply involved in it, unable to extricate myself.
The kinder and more innocent people are, the easiest to be betrayed, abandoned, and used. It can only become stronger and invulnerable after being injured again and again, and it will no longer be what it was originally. No matter what friend or lover, they only approach you because they think you are profitable, they use you, and they deceive you like a fool.
