Written to myself before I was twenty.
You are still young, you are very green.
Your joy, anger, sorrow and joy are all obvious.
You haven't left your hometown yet, you are still wandering in your little world.
You have people you love and people who love you. You rely on each other and are each other's wings.
At the age of twenty-one, I want to think back to you in the past,
Thinking back to your love and willfulness, kindness and stubbornness,
Thinking back on your joys and sorrows, your expectations and disappointments,
Then, with the love and happiness I felt along the way,
Keep going.
Before I was twenty,
I think those were the green years that were more youthful than youth.
