In the sixth year of the Ming Dynasty, Li Fuguo, the magistrate of Hangzhou, was implicated in his family because he refused to build a shrine for Wei Zhongxian, leaving only two sons, Xiu Yuan and Confucianism. Fortunately, monk Tongxing from Songshan Shaolin came to the rescue and sent the two brothers Xiu Yuan and Xiu Ru to the Shaolin Temple to escape the disaster.
