This work is a biographical novel written by "Sword Demon" Xie Yunliu, one of the main characters in "Jian Wang 3", and strictly adheres to the game plot settings.
From Xie Yunliu's martial arts training in Chunyang Palace to becoming famous, until he got involved in political turmoil and was not tolerated by the court and martial arts, and was forced to live in exile in Japan. The novel is divided into three parts: the first part, "First Snow", starts from the Jinglong coup of the Tang Dynasty, to the first famous swords meeting at Hidden Sword Villa, and ends with the Tang Long coup. The second part, "Snow", starts from Xie Yunliu's voyage to the east and goes through various adventures in the East China Sea and Japan. He deals with the complex factional battles in Japan during the Nara period, and finally realizes the "Ittōryu" swordsmanship, which is famous in Japan.
In the third part, "Remnant Snow", thirty years later, Xie Yunliu returns to the Central Plains. Old friends are still there, new people come out in large numbers, the world has gone through vicissitudes of life, but people's hearts have not changed. There is still a lingering shadow behind him, and the Central Plains is also facing a new world chaos. Xie Yunliu, who became the "Sword Demon", holds the fire of revenge, but in his heart he misses his hometown and friends.
