Usually, people do not equate cases on TV with their own world, especially cases where people died.
I've always been like this -
I feel that those bloody corpses and the vicious murderers have nothing to do with me. Fundamentally speaking, I would rather believe that everyone in the city and space where I live is kind and honest. Of course, this may be just my wishful thinking, but I believe that most people are the same as me.
The remaining small number of people, I guess, are the murderers, or potential murderers.
