The heroine in the beginning of the whole story is not the focus of the entire police investigation. In my mind, the heroine can only be regarded as a promoter to advance the plot, playing a role of threading the needle.
The emotional line is not the relationship between men and women, but friendship, or even a feeling similar to family affection. After all, the criminal investigation team faces the most dangerous group of people in the world at a critical moment. Criminal police officers need to trust each other and help each other in order to overcome each difficulty. Long-term interactions will always produce deep feelings.
There are no manuscripts saved since the 4th story. Because I also write articles in my spare time after work, so updates will be very slow. Starting from the fourth story, I also uploaded it to the Internet every time I wrote a paragraph. I started minor revisions after the first draft was completed, so you will see that my fourth story was intensively updated and minor revisions were made in the later period.
