Yunfu Shangxian once said to the Venerable: "Zixu, the human heart is the most complicated, don't forget to stick to your roots." The Venerable smiled calmly and replied: "What is the foundation and what is the heart? If you are ruthless, how can you hinder the common people?"
Yunfu Shangxian just sighed and said no more words. Zixu still sat in front of the Buddha lotus every day, looking at the pool of deep green.
Before the calamity, the Buddha gave him a four-character motto: Flowers bloom and fall.
