I personally don't like tragic stories, but from my understanding, the first half of Dover's life was actually a huge tragedy... So I wanted to write a tragedy suitable for him.
Losing his status and protection, losing his mother, killing his father, killing his brother... Even though he still has so many loyal subordinates around him who he regards as relatives, it seems to be a more tragic thing.
The character Doflamingo really has too many dark sides in his heart, which is considered very heavy and profound in One Piece. He is not as thorough and bold as Blackbeard, but it makes people feel that the tragedy of his life was not caused by himself, but his psychological distortion is because of himself, and the degree of distortion is too high, and it is unlikely to be changed by the outside world.
I think it's probably impossible for people like him to be redeemed.
