"Du Yang Zabian" written by Su E of the Tang Dynasty: "In the early days of the Tang Dynasty, the female barbarian country paid tribute to two dragons and rhinoceros, with bright rosy brocades. The people of their country had golden crowns in their buns and tassels and quilts, so they were called 'Bodhisattva Barbarians'. At that time, excellence was encouraged, so they sang "Bodhisattva Barbarian Songs", and scribes often imitated their lyrics." (See the fifth citation of "Ci Pu") "Tang Yin Guizha" and "Nanfang Xinshu" are similar. "Beimeng Suoyan" also says: "Xuanzong loved to sing the lyrics of "Bodhisattva Man", and ordered Prime Minister Hu to pretend that Fei Qing had written the secret and read it, so as not to leak it." In the Tang Dynasty, beautiful women were commonly called Bodhisattva, and Bodhisattva Man chieftains were called Numan. At that time, Jiaofang was composing music and lyrics, hence the name of the poem.
