In fact, these are fictional histories. The main plot is in modern times. It is the story of how a bad guy turned from a bad guy to a saint, leading his race to victory in the energy war in a world with only one thousandth of the population. It is naturally interspersed with love stories about second-rate goods and guest appearances by various historical figures.
