In a small city in the early 1990s, a group of high school students with different personalities were burdened with the pressure of the college entrance examination. They were confused, hesitant and made difficult choices amid the heavy academic load and the ignorant first experience of love.
The few years of high school life have been full of ups and downs, with all kinds of tastes. Upon graduation, everyone has to face their own different fates. They tore up their textbooks to celebrate the end of the "history of suffering", but little did they know that what awaited them was not heaven.
