Yao Bian is a type of "Kiln Bian". It is a work of art that combines fire and earth with great difficulty during the firing of porcelain. Because of its unique blue-purple glow, which is as beautiful as the sun, moon and stars, it is called Yaobian.
Yaobian lamps began in the Northern Song Dynasty. There are only three pieces in existence, and all of them are collected in Japan and are regarded as national treasures.
