Our childhood was a childhood endowed with too many symbols, hovering on the edge of being close to the natural countryside and the prototype of urbanization. 98 Floods, the return of Hong Kong and Macao, English education, institutional conflicts, demolitions, and ignorant emotions. These important moments in the overall social changes or in family life seem a bit strange, sad and joyful in the eyes of a child. A house, a child, a period of time, told in an understatement, can inadvertently touch the tender and itchy place in some people's hearts. What I want to write is such a story, a novel in which a child can understand a corner of the world through this book, and a story in which adults can see their sweet and sad childhood. Momo, others call her a little fairy, she has a father who is a policeman and a mother who is a beautiful and clean painter. She lives in a simple house assigned by her father's work unit. The little fairy calls it chocolate grid. The little fairy watched strange and tender things happening and disappearing around her in the chocolate grid, until a flood made her parents decide to move out of the chocolate grid. The little fairy never forgot the chocolate grid. During the time when she missed chocolate, the world quietly changed a lot. The little fairy sent away her brother who lived next door and the cat that had always been by her side. During these farewells, she grew up and gradually forgot about the existence of the chocolate grid. Until one day, a familiar yet unfamiliar boy next to me said to the little fairy: Do you remember me? I live in a chocolate grid. Are you willing to go back with me and take a look at it?
