Draco did not expect that the Malfoy family would be so lonely that he was the only one left, of course not counting the ancestor who came back from cheating. Now he lives in Hogwarts, occasionally going out to fight monsters and level up when he has nothing to do, or pestering his ancestors to teach him some practical things.
Draco never thought that he would one day live in peace with his savior. Apart from fighting and bickering, they got along pretty well the rest of the time.
