Pudong, at ten o'clock at night, I boarded a flight to Dubai.
More than ten years ago, I first heard about Dubai from my parents. I thought it was out of reach. But who would have thought that today, it is only a place ten hours away by plane. Therefore, the future is unpredictable, just like I once thought that I would hold hands with her and enter the palace of marriage.
She was at the end of that ten-hour flight, and now she is the mother of a child, but I am not the child's father.
Sitting on the plane, I imagined her appearance. On her three-dimensional face, under the sunken eye circles, there were a pair of clear and bright eyes, which looked very much like the Middle Eastern women I had seen abroad in the past few years.
