After watching Mr. Lao She's Four Generations Living Under One Roof, and having had four generations living under one roof in my own family, I was inspired to write a story about the life and death of a large family during the war, set during the Republic of China. This article uses a fifteen-year-old girl as the protagonist and writes about the various lives around her.
