"Manuscript of Qing History" Biography of Concubines
Empress Taizong Xiaoduanwen, the Borjigit clan, was the daughter of Manggusi, Horqin Beile. In the fourth month of Jiayin year, when he came back, Taizu ordered Taizong to welcome him in person. He went to the mountain city of Huerqi in Huifa and held a big banquet. During the day, Concubine Horqin, the stepmother, came to court many times to greet Lao Lao, and Xilai was given extra gifts. In the first year of Chongde, he was given the honorary title, and later he became the official in the middle palace. In the second year, the concubine came back to court and held a welcome banquet. The next day, the concubine hosted a banquet, and the concubine, concubine Zhuang, and concubine Zhuang were happy to go. He ordered his late father, Mang Gusi, to be granted the title of Prince Heshuofu, and a monument was erected at the tomb. The concubine was named Concubine Heshuofu, and the great scholar Fan Wencheng and others were canonized. Shizu ascended the throne and was honored as the empress dowager. In April of the sixth year of Shunzhi, Yisi died at the age of fifty-one. Seven years later, he was given a posthumous title. Yongzheng and Qianlong successively added posthumous titles, including Empress Xiao, Dignity, Jingren, Yi Zhe, Shunci, Xi, Zhuang Minfu, Tianxie and Shengwen. The third daughter married Ezhe, Qitat, and Bayasi Hulang.
