"Reversal Othello"
O, beware, my lord, of jealousy; it is the green-eyed monster which doth mock the meat it feeds on. (Othello 3.3)
Jealousy is like a scourge, it makes you forget love.
Iago used the magic of words to make Othello suspect that his wife had betrayed him and had an affair with Cassio, his trusted lieutenant. Filled with jealousy, Iago killed his wife who had always been loyal to him. When the conspiracy became clear, Othello chose to commit suicide.
William Shakespeare's General Othello is heroic and powerful, but no matter how his temper is refined and his heart is upright, when a wound is cut in a person's heart and seeds of suspicion are planted, the day when the seeds sprout, the good things in the past are destined to turn into malice.
