Synopsis
In 1985, Yang Lizhu, the daughter of the old Baiyun County magistrate Yang Guobao, was in love with police officer Shen Pengfei. Wang Xiancheng, a cadre of the Youth League County Committee, took her love away from her and forcibly took possession of Yang's virginity after drinking. Helpless, Yang broke up with Shen five days later and had sex as a commemoration of the end of their relationship. One month later, Yang married Wang and gave birth to his son Wang Yang the following year. Eleven years later, when Wang Yang fell ill and was hospitalized, Wang Xiancheng, who had already served as deputy county magistrate, suddenly discovered that Wang Yang was not his biological son, but the son of Yang Tongshen, and the relationship between the couple broke down. Due to various reasons, when Wang Xiancheng had already divorced Yang, he secretly found a mistress outside and gave birth to a son for him. All the huge bribes Wang Xiancheng received when he was deputy county magistrate and deputy secretary of the county party committee were given to this mistress. In 2002, the Mengcheng City Commission for Discipline Inspection launched an investigation into the case of Wang Xiancheng, deputy secretary of the county party committee, for accepting bribes and misappropriating public funds based on reports from the masses. Although they overcame many difficulties and obtained evidence of Wang Xiancheng's bribery, and adopted "double regulations" measures against Wang Xiancheng, the whereabouts of the stolen money has never been found. Later, the investigation team of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection unexpectedly discovered that Wang Xiancheng's mistress turned out to be her... And that all Wang Xiancheng's stolen money was in her hands, so Wang Xiancheng was forced to confess all the facts of his crime. After the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection transferred Wang Xiancheng's case to the Procuratorate, they discovered that the whistleblower was actually him... At the same time, they also learned the real reason why Yang Lizhu did not agree to divorce Wang Xiancheng. This story has twists and turns, and truly reproduces the inside story of the Discipline Inspection Commission's "Double Regulations" and the process of the anti-corruption struggle, making it highly readable and educational. The original name of this book was "Shuanggui Fengyunlu", which was published by Popular Literature and Art Publishing House in May 2006. It was changed to "Hidden Pain" when it was published. Looking down on corruption (preface) Zhong Yun In fact, when human beings entered the threshold of slave society from primitive society, they actually fell into the door of sin. Only in a slave society did people understand that wealth could be hoarded, others could be enslaved, force could bring power, and power could control everything. Society has progressed, technology has developed, but human nature has become alienated. Unless humans dissolve social structures, corruption will be everywhere and will be the norm throughout the ages. "Hidden Pain" was originally called "Shuanggui Wind and Cloud Record". The author has been engaged in discipline inspection and anti-corruption work for a long time and has profound life accumulation, so he wrote it with ease. Because of his considerable literary skills, the characters are vivid, the plot is ups and downs, and the plot is appropriate. Because he understood that corruption is human nature and a common problem, he wrote it vividly, especially showing the exploitation and greed of human nature. Spend a few minutes, be like a god, look down at the corruption of the world, examine the corruption of the world, and still answer the curse of the sage, wealth is the source of all evil! The author writes about anti-corruption because he understands the source of corruption. In today's society, when it comes to corruption, it seems that only ** is corrupt, as if only ** causes corruption. Actually, that may not be the case. For example, not only Americans themselves are proud of American democracy, but many democratic activists in China also regard American democracy as a model of perfection. To put it aside, the Bush administration that presides over the White House is a globally recognized government of the rich. How did these rich people or their spokesmen get into the government and sit in high positions? Help the election! The so-called election aid means giving money! If the election aid is successful, the person being assisted will be in power, so he should reciprocate the favor. Therefore, the person who contributed the money will join the cabinet and occupy various official positions. What is the essential difference between this and China's buying and selling of officials? This is American election, American democracy! In fact, corruption is not terrible. What is terrible is that it cannot be seriously investigated and dealt with and brought to justice. What is terrible is that it cannot be treated rationally and just follow what others say. When a writer writes anti-corruption into his work, he is actually looking down at corruption from a high position. At Hubei University of Technology in October 2005 Intention:
