It was a yellowed cover. On the cover, a young man in a green jersey takes off to shoot a basketball. His fair and muscular arms are graceful, and the basketball is 20 centimeters away from his fingertips. In front of him, another man wearing a white jersey with a purple border made a powerful gesture to block the shot in a coercive manner. He spread his fingers vigorously and roared about to hit the ball.
The photographer's timing of the capture was excellent. The two of them stayed in the air as if time had frozen. The basketball was between them, with no obvious belonging. Their eyes were subtly separated, like the moment when they stared at each other and finally turned their heads to each other, or like the moment before their eyes met when they walked towards each other.
This is the cover of the June issue of "Kanagawa Basketball Weekly" in 1993. There is no name of the character on it, only a few large characters: Kanagawa High School Basketball·Double-Jiji Era.
