The end of the world is season five. There is no concept of time. Spring is autumn and autumn is spring. They only exist in people's imagination. The creatures inside are immortal. It has always been the case, unless people don't want to have eternal life, they can go to the Buddha to beg for eternal reincarnation.
The fifth season is that eternity that cannot be touched. Promises can always be fulfilled here.
