I have liked HP for many years. I have compiled and recommended some HP fanfics that I like.
Personal tendency:
I prefer stories with relatively simple settings that don't add too many cheat attributes to the characters.
I prefer stories with a tangled process and a happy ending.
I love HP very much, so I also prefer novels that don't make the original characters too OOC.
The last thing I want to say is that I think Dumbledore did make a lot of mistakes but he is still a great person. I admire the cute little bastard Draco, but I also think Harry the savior is cute. I admire Slytherin's cunning but don't think the representative of the Lion House is foolhardy. I do sympathize with Big V's childhood experience but I never think what he did is excusable. Everyone who reads Harry Potter will have different interpretations and extensions, and the world on paper can only show one side, while the other side needs the imagination of the reader to enrich it. Therefore, I can accept fan fiction that whitewashes the Snake Yard or denies the Lion Yard to a certain extent. I will discard most of the fan fiction that whitewashes or smeares the story without any reason, and I will not recommend it here.
