Standing on the roof of the abandoned old factory building and looking down at the entire Jing Town, I could clearly see every street in Jing Town, every old gray building, every winding and unsightly small river with duckweed floating in the west of the town, and the vegetable patch connecting the small river beach where the river disappeared, and every street corner in the east of the town where housewives were holding children carrying schoolbags to pick vegetables from the stalls. Of course, the most attractive thing is the railway track, which is the only mysterious place in this dull and remote town that is connected to the outside world. After growing up, Aoki returned here and filmed all this with a tilt-shift camera. The miniature scene was like a play. She, the living and past living person in Jing Town, all performed competently but blindly in this play with an unknown ending.
