"Tezuka, what am I to you?"
"A worthy opponent and a close partner."
On the court, Fuji and Tezuka's eyes met, and the autumn wind blew a chilly silence.
"As expected, that's all."
Fuji lowered his gaze, passed Tezuka sadly, and walked back to his own field. Tezuka looked sideways at his back, feeling inexplicably worried.
"This is a serve I didn't want to show you. A serve that fell into darkness."
When Tezuka was shocked that the ball shadow in front of him instantly expanded from spherical size to pitch black, he heard exclamations from the audience:
"Senior Fuji, disappeared?!"
