If someone asks me how life is like studying in the United States, I will of course proudly answer: "It's great here!"
You can rest on the grass in Central Park with your boyfriend's arm on your back after a hangover; you don't have to worry about a perverted class teacher checking in on you during class; and you don't have to worry about your parents coming to you every now and then to nag you about your studies.
Even better, you may be able to pick up New York Fashion Week tickets that others don't want (of course you can't pick them up); or you may meet a best friend who owns a house in Paris and go to Paris for a few days during the holidays.
Isn't this great? Yes, this is great!
