Chapter1
In the desert near dusk, the sunlight gradually weakens its edge. The sun is as big as a millstone and dances slowly along the endless sand dunes like a strange eye that does not blink. The remaining heat waves in the air are rising and falling, constantly steaming, and the burning yellow sand is sizzling. The desert before sunset is like a fierce ghost that fights back, struggling to bring the remaining creatures into the territory of the Hell Army. A group of figures meandered deeper into the desert. The line was neat, slow and powerful, with the sacrifice at the end. Those were the people who went to the altar of the Sun God Tsomulanjia. They simply wanted to use the prey that offended the Sun God to calm the anger of the desert in exchange for a temperature that seemed more survivable.
Looking closer, and then closer, there is a seven or eight-year-old child tied up among the sacrifices. The child's body was dirty, his hair was disheveled, his face was filthy, his skin was burned, his lips were chapped, and his eyes were tightly closed, as if he was making the only resistance to the unknown fate. He did not cry or make trouble, but was only careful to save his life. His frown reminded the desert that this was still a living prey.
