February 29th is a special day. Scientists named it Leap Day. This day appears because the earth's year is not a complete three hundred and sixty-five days, but an extra quarter of a day. In order to fill this time, scientists set a date that only occurs once every four years, which is February 29th. We have always believed this.
But, has anyone ever wondered why it's set in February? And why does it have to be the 29th?
A certain legend explains it this way. On February 29th, several forces will appear in certain places on the earth. No one knows where it will appear, and no one knows the exact time it will appear. They only know that the place where it will appear next time will be similar to the last time. After that power appears, the person on the ground will gain a special ability, which is called a leap person.
The government has known about the existence of leap people hundreds of years ago. The leap people do not want the government to disturb their lives, let alone the government to use their bodies for experiments, so they have reached an agreement: the government cannot disturb the lives of the leap people, and the leap people are not allowed to use supernatural powers among the people. However, this agreement has gradually been destroyed.
