Hello, stranger:
I started writing novels when I was eleven years old, and words have accompanied me for half of my life. It was not until I started to dance when I was 19 years old that my focus slowly shifted. It was dance that made me believe that my loneliness may no longer be just a secret sadness that belongs to me alone. Those heartaches that I relied on words to soothe, finally found a new way to be released.
I still remember someone saying to me that hip-hop art originated from the noisy streets, full of violence, money, darkness and sex. However, the hip-hop boy I wrote was too beautiful, calm, and not crazy enough. He told me that when you really make a living by dancing, you will be tired of this kind of life, and you will believe that everything you write and think about in this world is not so bright at all.
So this novel was once abandoned by me, and three years passed like this. I still haven't given up dancing. My knees are always injured, my toes are bleeding from spinning and jumping, and the soles of my feet are covered with calluses. I have cried and laughed for it, been crazy and silent. Likewise, no matter how many people pass me by, it always stands at the beginning, breathing lightly and waving to me and shouting "Hi". Many people who said they will love me forever have left me in the end, but it is the only one that will never leave me.
So, no matter how many disgraceful past it has, in my heart, it is the sun.
