"When they get to the part
where he's breaking her heart
It can really make me cry
just like before.
It's yesterday once more."
Everyone has a book like this, and it appears out of thin air when we least expect it. I've heard that particularly accomplished people, like Mandela or Steve Jobs, had their books in hardcover color editions. And what I am holding in my hand has no cover and no color. It records every moment we have experienced in our short life, and it also reveals the secrets and records every moment in the future. If we just turn to the last page, wouldn't there be a lot less surprises? In fact, the ending may not be the most important, it is always the wonderful part in the middle that is endlessly memorable.
However, I think all the hesitation is in vain. Some songs have melodies and lyrics that you can't help but repeat. Some stories are willing to be replayed over and over again even if you know the ending, turning every page of your life over and over again.
This is a love story about a movie, a dream, a courtyard house, a daughter and a Japanese officer.
