A few months ago, I read Daddy's Favorite: The Wisdom of the Dementor, translated by Yuan Mo. I was so moved and amazed that I read the original text. I have to say that many of the author's views are very unique and insightful. Here I pick out the Lupine chapter that echoes the Sirius chapter and translate it. Hats off to the author and the translator of Siris.
This chapter takes place on the eve of Harry's train ride home in the year of Sirius's death. Lupin's confession here painfully confirms the speculation in Sirius's suicide note.
