Azeroth is the name given by the Titans to a small plane in the boundless darkness. The once only continent in the world was named Kalimdor by the Titans - "the land of eternal starlight". Although this world is much smaller than other worlds, it has resisted the invasion of the Burning Legion twice and successfully resolved world-destroying disasters several times, making it an important plane in the universe. Here, relics of the earliest civilizations such as dark trolls and Zerg appear all over the world.
