Wanyanping and Yeluqi are fictional characters from "The Legend of the Condor Heroes". The intersection between the two occurs in the novel where Wanyanping avenges her family and country, assassinates a high-ranking Mongolian official, and is subdued by Yeluqi. Among them, Wanyanping is a descendant of the Jin Dynasty, Yeluqi is the second son of the Mongolian official Yelu Chucai, and Yelu happens to be the surname of the Liao Kingdom. I remember there was a conversation between the two in the book, which basically said that Wanyan Ping said that he wanted to avenge the destruction of the country, and Yelu Qi said that when was the time to retaliate against each other, and that their Yelu family was destroyed by the Jin Kingdom, who should they seek revenge from. The story involves the grudges of three dynasties, and the extended relationship is very subtle. I think it is worth talking about.
