Since I was a child, I have believed that there is a soul living in every drop of water.
My hometown is Qilu. There are no winding waterways, no swaying bamboo rafts, and no continuous paddy fields. If you want to see water, go to the mountains! Because there may be gurgling springs there, cool and sweet; there may be trickling streams running down the uneven rocks; there may be majestic waterfalls, thundering... These are far more intimate than the inland rivers, reservoirs, and lakes in the city.
