She never thought of herself as a savior.
I became a monk just for the words of the Buddha when I was five years old -
There will naturally be people in the Buddhist Temple who need you to transform all their sufferings with your body. In this way, sentient beings will not suffer karma because of them, and they will not be confused because of you.
She did not want to be a monk and nun who secluded herself from the world in the nunnery, but would rather be an alien in a corner of the temple who could not face the male monks.
So she entered the temple at the age of seven, sitting alone at the feet of the Buddha and chanting dusk chants with the monks and novices behind her.
Master Kongjing said that it was the Buddha who used her body to save the destined person.
Abbot Kongyuan said that she took advantage of Buddha's fate to meet the destined person.
She never thought that her name would have anything to do with the Xuannv Tu, which was originally a Taoist thing.
She never thought that the person who would bring her back into the world would be that kind of person——
"If I didn't take you away, would you come with me?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"The twelve causes and conditions are all suffering. Those who have bad karma must have suffering in their hearts. If you create karma due to confusion, you need to solve your confusion. Since the donor has confusion, I should help you to solve your confusion."
"How did you know that I was the one you were waiting for?"
"Buddha said, don't say it."
