The smoke is everywhere and the flames of war are raging. Only by your side can I feel at ease. Only when my heart is at ease can this be my home.
In 1994, Erich Priebke, a Nazi criminal living in Argentina, told an American television crew interviewing him: "... At that time, military orders were in full force. Do you understand, young man?"
Soldiers in war have no choice. Under the call to "serve the country", you went into the war and killed many enemies, but in the end you found that you became an accomplice of war criminals and became the "sinful generation" who must bow your head to confess and repent for the rest of your life. What could be more tragic than this? For ordinary soldiers, the distinction between "justice" and "evil" is simply because of where you were born - if you are an American, the souls under the gun will make you a hero; but if you are a German, you can only become an evil killer. It's unfortunate to be on the wrong team. What's even more unfortunate is that it's not up to you to choose which team to be on.
My honor is loyalty.
PS: If this is not a love story written in the battlefield, it will probably be very cold in JJ. The update time is uncertain. I write it for fun and it is purely a personal hobby.
