Legend has it that Xu Zhenjing is the son of Xu Xian and Bai Suzhen. There are several different versions of the ending of the Legend of the White Snake. There are also different legends about the son of Xu Xian and Bai Suzhen. My grandfather told me several stories about Mr. Xu Zhenjing. To this day, Master Xu Zhenjing is still worshiped in the temples here.
