It's my own true story. I told it to many people, and everyone felt it was a pity not to record it. So I polished it up and wrote it with a little exaggeration.
The name is taken from Li Zongsheng's song "When Love Is a Thing of the Past". When the female voice sang "If you forget me, there will be no pain", Li Zongsheng's next monologue, "There is no use forgetting you", was exactly what I felt, maybe it was also yours, his, or hers.
I met him when I was seven, and now I am twenty. We have known each other for thirteen years.
I don't know in what grade I started liking him, but I'm sure it must have been ten years now.
It only took a year for them to really meet each other, but they experienced ambiguity, passionate love, quarrels, and breakup of friendship. No contact as of now.
But I know I still love him deeply.
I write this novel for myself.
