There is a notebook on Park Xingxiu's bedside table that no one can read. It is thicker than three textbooks put together.
Park Xingxiu would write and read it every day. Sometimes he would laugh while reading it, sometimes his ears would be red with excitement, and sometimes he would run out in a hurry or call Gao Nansun to go out.
