The inspiration for the story actually does not come from Guangxu and Concubine Zhen, but from Lin Juemin's "Book with His Wife". Therefore, the original theme of the story was written around "I will die first and leave you the pain. I can't bear it, so I would rather you die first, and I will bear the sorrow." However, as ideas kept emerging, it slowly went further and further away from the original intention, and finally it was positioned in the context of the character of the last princess.
