Hexagon. I once drew this pattern in the air, in the palm of my hand, and on white paper, and then I felt that it was like the map of my life. The hollow in the middle is my heart brought by life and death. Each symmetrical angle represents warmth and request, confusion and redemption, self and loss. They form the skeleton of my life.
Things that are not written down will become worthless and slowly fade away. And what is written down is always worth remembering. I always wanted to give myself a thought about the journey along the way, and I wanted to make it into a gift for myself. Just like Indians leaving their footprints on the stone slab when entering a new house - write it before you turn twenty and give it to your past self.
