I'm waiting, still waiting.
Six years ago, he left without leaving a sound. I could tell the loneliness and desolation of his back. Looking at the letter he left, he said not to wait for him and that he would not come back. He also said that he went to a place far away from here that I couldn't get to and that he didn't want me to find him. I looked at this letter and didn't say anything. I just silently said in my heart that I will wait for you for seven years. The day after he left, we graduated and entered another high school after three years together. I began to become silent and often stared at him for a long time, thinking that there was his shadow there. I was the only one who started to feel lonely. Looking around, there was no shadow of him and no one around me. I knew that he was really no longer by my side.
He went to that far away place, where I couldn't go.
Now I have been waiting for six years, and his delicate face is still in my mind. I often think about why a brain that can accommodate so many books doesn't look like a drop in the ocean.
I found out because he was the one for me.
