I have read too many foreign novels recently. A tangled inheritance incident leads to tangled and twisted values of life. Money catalyzes love, money destroys love, money creates life, and money destroys life.
Today is still an era where interests are paramount and ideals are at the end of the road. Perhaps there are no such weird and extreme examples around us, but if there are any, it will be corrected and encouraged.
Inspirations include "Bel-Ami", "Middlemarch" and even "Miss Lonelyheart".
