From time to time, I could hear the sound of waves lapping against the rocks. A bright moon was slowly setting on the west side of the mountains in the distance. The morning glow before the scorching sun was now shining on the silvery water. I had no intention of watching this very magnificent landscape. I tried to swing my arms faster, trying to run faster and get rid of the man in black who was following closely behind me.
No matter how many times this scene is repeated, what I choose is a path of no return. There is a cliff in front of me, rough sea water and sharp-edged rocks under the cliff, and the graceful man in black behind.
I stood on the edge of the cliff, panting, trying to breathe more oxygen with my mouth open, my chest heaving violently, but the man in black walked toward me leisurely as if walking.
"Don't move, I'll jump down if you move forward." I said threateningly. Even though I know this sentence doesn't work.
The man did stop, but only for a short while. He continued walking towards me.
I gritted my teeth, turned around and jumped back. In an instant, I was hanging on the cliff. The man in black was holding my hand tightly and pulled me up with a strong force. I covered my heart with my hands, which was beating wildly at the moment.
"Fool, why are you running?" He asked in a funny way.
After all the trouble just now, I knew that he didn't mean to hurt me. He straightened up and looked up at him, only to see a pair of bloody eyes. At this hazy moment when the sky was about to get dark, his eyes were burning brightly.
Those are not human eyes! Fear screamed in my body again, and before I had time to think about it, my body's natural reaction was to push his chest violently with both hands. He showed no intention of resisting and fell backwards. I stared into his eyes, and there was only a little tenderness and pampering in them, without any shock or panic. Seeing him like this, I couldn't help but reach out and grab him.
"Why?" Why are you so willing?
"Because I love you, even though I know I have no hope of survival, I still let myself fall." He replied helplessly, and then he made another move that was beyond my expectation. He used his other hand that was not caught by me to pry my fingers apart one by one, freeing them from my shackles. I wanted to reach out to catch him again, but I was awakened by his splashing waves and the first ray of sunshine in the morning. He disappeared and the sun appeared. What an ironic picture.
Opening my eyes, the five fingers of my right hand spread out and stretched toward the ceiling, as if I wanted to grab something. I shook my head, lamenting that this was just another dream. I have been woken up like this many times from my dreams in the middle of the night. I was also confused by this.
Why should I run away?
Why did he say he loved me?
Who is he? Why can't you remember what he looks like?
Also, why did I feel a heartbreaking pain when I saw him falling into the sea.
