There is a story in Grimm's Fairy Tales: The Pied Piper of Hamel is also called the Pied Piper.
It is said that the music of this wandering traveler has magic power that can make any creature intoxicated. Creatures that hear his music will be controlled by it.
Once, a very severe rat plague broke out in the village of Hamel. The village chief and the villagers asked the passing Pied Piper for help and promised him generous rewards. However, after the Pied Piper used his flute to lead all the mice to jump into the river, the villagers refused to acknowledge their previous promise and did not intend to pay them. The Pied Piper was so angry that he played the Magic Flute at night (I don't know if it was that day), and the music took away all the children in the village while people were sleeping.
And this story follows that story...
