Shioyuan is naturally imagined based on the scenery of my hometown, a beautiful and vast, ancient and long-standing land.
There is a huge Zhu family living in Xiyuan. They claim to be descendants of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and have a noble bloodline given to them by history. The Zhu clan leader has always been the only "ruler" on Xiyuan, and the Zhu clan has lived on Xiyuan for hundreds of years with an "arrogant" attitude. When the old society slowly faded away, the people in Xiyuan ushered in a new society. The peaceful Xiyuan was slowly transforming unknowingly, and the people in Xiyuan were also slowly changing. People were breaking some old systems and old lives.
The late tide is called "tide", and why has Shiyuan been named after "tide" for thousands of years? Because there is a legend in Shioyuan about a lake deep in the mountains.
The novel is narrated in four time periods, namely the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, before and after the liberation of the country, the 1960s and 1970s after liberation, and after the 1990s. But the story that happened in the first time period is interspersed with the narration of the next three time periods, so the full text starts from the second time period to narrate the entire story.
