Red raccoon dog is an animal I made up. Chi means loyalty to the color red and refers to the heart of a child. Raccoon dog means fox and refers to cunning wisdom. I use it to describe the era we live in. The novel tells about some "magical" things that happened in this era, such as lotteries, earthquakes, fishing-style law enforcement, tainted milk powder, the second generation of rich people, the second generation of officials, the director's diary, the mistress, you and me, and some of my sincere views on love after the storm.
