This short story was inspired by reading Thaty's "The Condor Shooting: Hands Over the Mountains and Rivers". In thaty's novel, the male protagonist traveled through time and became a member of the Jin Kingdom. So if someone directly traveled through time and became a Mongolian, and wanted to protect the Song Dynasty, or to be precise, the inherited civilization, what should she or he do?
So, I wrote, The Hua Zheng of Time Travel.
Okay, I admit, this is more of a mini-story than a short story.
