Mirror of Me: "I Will Not Become an Immortal" and a Pilgrimage to the Way of "I" "The Three-Body Problem" and "I Am Not an Immortal" are the only two works that I have read more than twice. They are like the Yin and Yang sides of the universe. "Three-Body" looks outward, outlining the fate of civilization in a cold picture; while "I Will Not Become an Immortal" looks inward, pointing directly to the origin of life in endless time and space - the only "I". For me, Jianchou's path to enlightenment is not a story of "becoming an immortal", but a philosophical practice that implements "I" to the extreme. Along the way, she has "lost her appearance". From the identity prison of the Xie woman to the ultimate "divine" existence that is neither male nor female, neither old nor young, neither good nor evil, she has shed all the defined appearances. Her power is not related to the strength of her magic power, but comes from an ultimate "unification" - carrying out a heroic entropy reduction and collapse of the infinite ideas and possibilities scattered in the universe (that is, the existing "information"), and finally condensing them all into the thought of "I". This "I" becomes the immortal singularity, because it is everything. This understanding has been foreshadowed as early as the Ash Pond in the Snowy Land. The past memories she chopped off turned into "banshees", and after the confrontation, she chose to fuse them instead of destroy them. At that moment I knew that her way was not to abandon any part of her experience, but to accommodate all of herself. It is precisely because of this that she can regard the "universe eye" that can penetrate time and space as useless, because her "chaotic heart" is not bound by those constant rules. On this road, all living beings are mirrors of her. Xie Buchen is the mirror that reflects "obsession". He has deceived the sky for nine lifetimes and danced to the extreme within the rules, hoping to reach the opposite side of the sky. However, because he cared too much about "heaven" itself, he became a prisoner of the most perfect rules. His calculation is the limit of "human intelligence" and also the loss of "me". His selection by Pangu is the ultimate symbol of his path: he has become the recipient of the old rules rather than the matrix of the new rules. Qu Zhengfeng is the mirror that reflects "stripping". He bravely bore the infamy, but cowardly erased the word "Jianchou" on the stone wall, not daring to face the possibility in his heart. He chose to peel off the pain and innocence, and thus peeled off part of "me", and finally killed the complete self. In contrast, Fudaoshanren shows another possibility of an innocent heart: despite all the pain, he still actively explores, and his existence itself is a state close to chaos. And my favorite mirror is Fu Chaosheng. He is the embodiment of the flow of "I". From a mayfly, to a great demon, to a half-hearted man, to an ancient god, his form has never been fixed. He was friendly to the human race but was harmed by his own race, which itself raises a question: How can he have an unchanging attitude? The process of him capturing half of the heart of the Wuguan King was more like a sacred ceremony for the possibility of "I" - the Wuguan King failed to fully integrate his thoughts into the "I", so he was captured by the purer Taoist heart. Fu Chaosheng uses this to open up the emotional dimension to the invisible form of chaos, and his "I" expands infinitely. Ultimately, the relationship between Jianchou and Zen is not refuge, but transcendence. When she ignites the fire in her heart and embeds the idea of "I" into the rules of the universe, she uses the wisdom of "using the heart". When all the eight dharma bodies of the heavenly dragons were transformed into her image, she completed the most thorough declaration: Buddha is me, Tao is me, and demons are also me. All external appearances are just one aspect among the myriad possibilities of "I". She deconstructs the inherent sacredness and gives every independent "I" the ultimate possibility of becoming a Buddha and a Taoist being. At this point, "I Will Not Become an Immortal" has completed its best interpretation. Everyone in the world says that "immortal" is the ultimate pursuit, but that "immortal" is just the ultimate within the framework of the rules of this world, and it is the end point that Xie Buchen and his like can imagine. And "I" do not seek immortality or admiration for Taoism. Because "I" is the universe. Therefore, the companionship of Jianchou and Fu Chaosheng seems to me to be the most harmonious resonance in the universe. Jianchan is the inward deepening of "I" and the source of definition; Fu Chaosheng is the infinite outward flow of "I" and is the exploration itself. One of them is like a singularity, and the other is like an expanding universe. This book is no longer a pastime for me. It is a mirror that reflects my understanding of the world. It tells me that the end point of all outward explorations is to return - to understand all things, just to see the true "I" who has the same origin as all things and should have infinite possibilities. Seeing sorrow and becoming a great master, he does not stay and goes away as he pleases, because staying is not the way of "I". Isn't the practice of each of us in this life just to choose how to gaze and collapse in the endless flow of information, and finally become the unique and common ancestor of all things - "I"?
After reading it for the second time, I was still filled with emotions and couldn't help but want to say a few words: First of all, Dada's literary talent is outstanding. Characters, psychology, environment, fighting scenes, many short paragraphs are all rated as perfect composition standards, which shows the author's profound writing skills. Especially the description of the battle between the two Chou Chen, the tension and excitement and visual sense seem to come to your face when you look at the lines of text. Many passages are worth reading carefully. What's even more rare is the concise language and considerable blank space in the non-mainline parts, giving readers a lot of room for imagination and secondary creation; All characterizations and conflicts are done to the extreme. The portrayal of every character, whether the protagonist or the supporting characters in each stage, and even the pets - Kunpeng, the white goose, the mink bone jade, the little book beetle, and the minor characters who only appear in a few chapters (Zuo Liu, Big Head Ghost) are very vivid and vivid. The language, action, demeanor and psychology of each character are closely related to their character settings, which are completely stand-up and can withstand scrutiny. Especially Xie Buchen's decisiveness in killing his wife to prove his enlightenment, and at the same time he is extremely talented and stunningly talented, as well as his courage and boldness. The characters are three-dimensional and full-bodied, making people angry and loved at the same time, abandoning and loving at the same time! The daily bickering between Chaosheng and Kun always makes people laugh. The senior brother's forbearance and sincerity, and the hidden feelings for the junior sister are heart-wrenching. Zhang Tang's professionalism and extreme official fanaticism are even more amazing to read! There are also the "hooligans" and talents of Zuoliu, the ghosts and cuteness of Big-headed Ghost, the cuteness of Mink, his love for picking up "rags" and the "gold tooth" that can make people laugh, Ruhua's bohemianness, Shen Jiu's boldness, Wang Que's free and easy, the money-short philistine, Hongdie's detachment of seeing through the world... Each one is so excellent and each has its own characteristics! Needless to say, there are conflicts, and the initial life-and-death struggle between the two Chou Chen is even more igniting. It is tense and exciting, and it is exciting to read in one breath. The full text narrative is logically logical, rigorous in thinking, and echoes back and forth. The author is not immersed in his own martial arts or cultivation world, but has a cultivation world that is close to the "real", with a complete narrative line, clear priorities, highlighted points, allusions to reality, dialectics, philosophy, contradictions and cause and effect, as well as hardships along the way and a specific growth process. It ranges from the geographical structure of the isolated island of Nineteen States and even the entire universe to the nebula and galaxy, to the grievances between the main figures of each sect, to the skills, weapons, pills and formations, to the levels of cultivation and the key points of breakthrough at each level. During this period, the situation was even more complicated and confusing. Killing the Red Small World, the message in the Black Wind Cave, the Gate of Right and Wrong, the bridge/boat of sentient beings and ruthless people, the three thousand feet of red candle, the various stunning touches of the old house in the City of Waste, the awakening of the banshee's sorrowful burning lamps and ashes, the death of the Holy Son Jiye and the order of sentient beings Rebirth, the process of discussing Taoism in the extreme realm and the realization of the way of heaven and my own way, as well as the finishing touch of pretending to be "Lian Zhao", the fake "Xiao Mou" with the senior brother and the "Li Han" relationship between Chaosheng... It is so addictive to read! When Master Jiang He's uncle Yashan Qianxiu returned to his hometown, he burst into tears. The philosophical insights based on the narrative throughout the whole text are even more penetrating. A few sentences can give people a sense of turning away the clouds and seeing the sun, the extreme realm (yin) and the nineteen states (yang), good and evil, demons and demons, soul and soul, the human emperor and "my way", especially in the princess's three thousand feet. The cutting off of the past, the perception of burning lamps and ashes in the embers pool, the transparency of the banshee when she saw her sorrow, the birth and death of the Holy Son Jiye breaking the blind worship of gods and the ignorance and blind obedience of thoughts, and Jiye igniting the fire in the hearts of all living beings, all give people a feeling of transparency and enlightenment. I finally understood the plot that I didn't understand the first time and I finally understood it after reading it for 9 and 25 years. Today, nine and 25 years later, I still read the novel and it still feels current. Different ages have different readings, which shows the depth of the whole novel. Worth the second brush! Here's to the mirror of 16 years! I respect the immortal I was nine years ago!
Every rainy day, when I reread the last chapter, I always think of the ending day, which was also a rainy day. My emotions at that time always surfaced, and I felt that everything was difficult to settle, but it seemed that everything should end like this, and in the end, it felt like everything was not over yet.
This book has been read countless times since it was serialized. It has been almost ten years now. It still seems to be a good work of asking one's heart. My Tao followed me for ten years.
能不能确准一点更新时间啊??
Feeling lost
This is truly the most awesome immortal cultivation novel I have ever read.
Four brushes in ten years, I'll take this as a souvenir later.
It has been ten years, and there has never been a heroine like Jianchou. Just like that glass of wine, it waits forever for the next generation, but no one can pick it up for a very long time. Fiction and reality overlapped perfectly at this moment
Really awesome
