Ancient China more than 2,000 years ago was in the midst of war. The vast country of China was divided into seven countries. We are accustomed to calling it the Warring States Period. The existence of the Seven Heroes of the Warring States Period led the changes in the entire Chinese mainland. They are Qi, Chu, Qin, Yan, Zhao, Wei, and Han. These seven countries are kingdoms with their own cultures, regions, and commerce, and they have stood firm in this troubled world. This balance lasted for three hundred years, and was finally broken by the appearance of one person, Ying Zheng. We are used to calling him Qin Shihuang.
